I need to get some money but I only have about 5 weeks until I leave for vacation during summer. And then after summer i'm going to college and won't be able to get a job then. Do you think I should get a job now? The only problem is that I can only work for 5 weeks maximum.. and it will be my first job. I don't know if its a good idea, but I could really use the money.. Or is there another way to make a lot of money but not fully committed to a long-term job? Please don't mention baby sitter, dog sitter, or lifegaurd. thank you!

Quitting jobs does not look good on a job resume and seeing you are looking for your first job it is not a good jump start to career building. It would be a hassle and a half to put in your two weeks after only 3 weeks of working also.
The best thing I can suggest for temporary work is Dog walking, baby sitting or offering to do some local yard work. Looking for a job that requires someone for 5 weeks is almost impossible. If you want a shot at quick work you can try a temp agency but even so most require experience. [ Xui's advice column | Ask Xui A Question ]
