Why does he talk to me one day then ignore me the next?
There is this guy I like and I think he like me but not too sure. He stares at me a lot and sometimes he talks to me and on a few occasions he's even flirted with me. But then a lot of days he ignores me and it confuses me. When this happens I think he doesn't like me. Why does he do that?

There could be lots of reasons. He could be into you and doesn't want to over do it so he tries talking every once in awhile instead of every day. I tend to do that alot so I don't seem so obsessed.
He could be shy or nervous.
He might be one of those guys who plays mind games with girls.

Sometimes guys can be shy when they like a girl. It sounds like he is trying to send signals that he likes you but gets nervous. I think this is a strong possibility but if this is not the case then it could be because he is just playing games, and may not be as interested as you may hope.
To find out smoothly which one it is, I think you should try making the first move in a subtle way on the days he ignores you. Something as small as saying hi or just smiling at him from time to time when you pass him will do. If he likes you then he should respond positively to this, maybe by striking up a conversation between the two of you.
