Driving time between L.A and Michigan.

Question Posted Saturday March 12 2011, 7:59 pm

So I've had a search and it says to drive from Los Angeles to Detroit(Michigan) is 1987 miles (3198 kilometers) but I want to know how many DAYS it would take to drive it. When my boyfriend drove from Kansas City to L.A, it took 3 days(with rests every so often)...but when i search on google maps it says 1 day and 14 hours, and it says the same amount of days for L.A to detroit.. Does anyone know??

According to mapquest the drive is a day and a half ( 34 hrs 28 min ) This all depends on how fast you drive and how many breaks you take in between.
