Will I be able to collect unemployment?

okay I been working for close to four months will I be able to collect unemployment? I live in the north suburbs of chicago illinois and I worked 40 to 50 hours a week making 8.50. hope that's enough information

It's possible. You have to have been earning wages in an insured job, which you likely were. You also have to have been let go through no fault of your own, and actively seeking work.

If you quit, were discharged for misconduct or refused reasonable work, you will be denied.
