Just tell your friend the truth tell him. I understand why you are upset, but I am not the one who told on you. You are my friend why would I do something that could ruin our friendship.

Hi,
What you do is: you tell him the truth! Let him know that you did not tell on him and make sure he heard what you said. Do not hassle him saying over and over that you didn't do it, just tell him once and then let him figure it out for himself after that. He should trust you if he is your friend. Give him some time and space too. He will talk to you once he is ready <3
