No-one needs to be in control of whether you resign a job or not, but I will suggest to you to keep your distance and do not resign until you get another job. THERE are too many people trying to find a job. Just pray about this and leave it to the Creator and he will work it out.
In the mean time keep your partner out of your business and document every action or verbal conversation and always remain respectful to your boss and co-workers, but feed your boss out of a long handle spoon and keep all your comments and frustrations to your-self until you are able to go to another job.

your partner isn't the boss of you, and tell them that.
Also, as long as you plan on getting another one soon, there shouldn't be a problem.
Just start looking for a new job. You can also file a complaint to the HEAD of your company to let them know that you are working for a racist person. That's a good idea to start with. They will have to deal with it because it goes against your rights if they ignore you. No one should be treated unfairly. [ Uniqueme's advice column | Ask Uniqueme A Question ]

I'm sure your partner is thinking about your finances and how you will support yourselves if you quit. In this economy, paying jobs are hard to come by. In the meantime, kill your boss with kindness. Show him/her up by becoming the best employee they have. Do everything and go above and beyond. Then enjoy the show as your boss tries to figure out what to do with such an amazing employee! When you find a better job, feel free to leave, knowing you're a better person for facing up to the challenge, and winning. [ dearcandore's advice column | Ask dearcandore A Question ]
