Lesbian Accusations...

Question Posted Sunday January 30 2011, 9:52 pm

I'm a 15 year old girl and people at school have started to call me a lesbian even though I'm NOT just because I've never dated anyone and have few guy friends. It's hurtful and I don't know what to do. HELP!

There is nothing wrong with being a lesbian but I understand being called something your not. A little snappy comeback is when someone calls you a lesbian, "what...are you afraid I'll steal your girlfriend because I'm better than you?" One other thing I wonder, is the company that you keep at school. Do you hang out with the butch looking or dark lonely girls? School kids have always and will never stop being cruel and judgmental. If you act like it doesn't bother you and eventually make fun of yourself, they'll be left with nothing to say to you anymore. I hope this helps and good luck.

I got that in school. And really there's not much to do apart from accepting it and getting on with your life. They will only be in your life for a short amount of time so dont let them bother you so much. There's so sad and have no life that they're bothering you about yours, you know your not so that should be enough. In some cases you denying it will only make them believe it more and tease you more. But if you can stand your ground strong enough then the next witty remark they throw at you about you being a lesbian or whatever then just have a come back ready and waiting to shock them as they expect you to say nothing. But whatever you do dont feel forced to date guys or go out with guys and all of that just to please a crowd of people. It can be extremly hurtful with the things kids come out with but come backs and ignoring on your behalf as well as a good set of family and friends to support you shall be all you need to get you through. Good luck and if you need more help on this subject because I've had 3 years of experience in that department!! please dont hesitate to inbox me!! Hope this helps!!xx

grow some thicker skin. people are going to be assholes like that for the forseeable future. discover the wonderful world of witty comebacks, like "you have more three letter abbreviations on your medical record than the united states army has in its vocabulary" (in case you can't figure it out, thats saying the person in question has a lot of STDs)
good luck kiddo.
