If you're planning on trying to get a job anytime soon, then no. For females if they dye their hair a crazy color, they can easily throw a nice wig on and they're good to go. I don't know lots of guys that would do that. But if you're just a kid messing around with your hair, go for it.
Just make sure that you take care of your hair. Go for a hair dye brand like Special Effects. Special Effects hair dye lasts the longest from what everyone says and from my own personal experience. And it glows under a black light, which is cool. But it's a vegan hair dye so it uses no chemicals and it doesn't damage your hair at all.
The bleach on the other hand WILL damage your hair. So make sure to use a deep conditioner sometimes. It'll help keep your hair healthy. Hot oil treatments also help.
Make sure to keep up with the maintenance. If you don't, it'll just look like you're lazy and don't care.
Remember it's very hard to get back to your natural hair color after doing all this. You can, but it's hard to do.

If you like it, go for it. If you're young and in high school nobody is seriously going to care. Know that you'll probably damage your hair long-term when you do the bleaching and dying, and if you ever want to have your natural hair color and healthy hair then it may take years upon years to recover from this sort of thing.
If you're older, about to be out of high school or are already out of high school, then you're going to want to rethink this. Nobody puts confidence in a shaggy smurf to get a job done well. You absolutely will not be taken seriously by other adults. [ Peeps's advice column | Ask Peeps A Question ]
