What to Wear Snowboarding ?

Question Posted Wednesday January 12 2011, 1:29 am

I'm supposed to go snowboarding this Sunday in Pennsylvania. I've never been, so what should I wear?

I have an old snowmobiling jacket. Should I wear that or just stick to my Northface?

Wool, or layers of socks, waterproof snowpants, lootss of layers underneath (you can always take them off if you get hot), waterproof jacket, waterproof gloves, a helmet, hat or both, and I always have to have a hanky to keep my face warm. I don't know what kind of northface you have but if you're talking about the fleece I wouldn't wear it because if its your first time it will get covered in snow and isn't waterproof. Good luck!
