Ok well I'll try my best :)

You could say this....

"Hey (person's name). I just want to let you know that I've been thinking about you a lot lately. I would like to know how you feel about me...Would you be able to give me a chance?"

Is that good? I'm not really good with short letter's either. But if you try something similar to that he should respond and you'll know how he feels about you. It won't be too long to read for him and he should be direct with his feelings towards you. You don't have to explain everything to him. Hope I helped!
