hotmail account has been infected with a virus

How do I get rid of my hotmail account virus without changing my hotmail address and losing all my contacts???

it all depends on the type of virus you have if u got the kind of virus that sends emails to people in your contact then empty your junk mail all you need to do is change your password it workd for me

it depends on the type of virus you got.
but if the virus is the one that sends emails to anyone in your contact list all you need to do is empty your junk mail and change your password. that worked for me when i got this virus.
