Can people seriously have "nice voices"?

Question Posted Tuesday January 4 2011, 10:27 pm

Strange question, but people sometimes say it is "pleasant to hear that person speak" so I'm just thinking... why is that?

I'd say in general, people like to hear voices that are warm, clear and flowy. It's just very easy on the ears.
If someone were to have a really high-pitched voice or mumbled their words, it would be irritating to listen to that person.

Some people just have really smooth voices. If you ever hear one of these people talking, you'll be able to tell what I mean. It's like narrators in movies, they have really cool, smooth voices that make you interested in what they're saying. Anyways, hope I helped, Jess.
