Hello, I am a 13 year old girl, and i want to lose wieght and just be healthier. Im actually at a good wieght, but I do sports and want to be fit for them. I always go jogging, but lately i haven't been because i don't want to go alone (my sister or brother usually went with me, but they never want to anymore) and i just don't know how to get motivated if the people i trust aren't helping me! So my question is, how do i get motivated to lose wieght and get healthier?

If you are as you say at a good weight, that being the proper weight for your age and height and have a good body fat ratio, then loosing more weight is not the thing. Continued regular exercise at school will help you stay fit without building more muscle which will actually add weight as muscle weighs more then fat. A proper diet will help you maintain your weight and stay healthy.
As to your question: I would suggest you ask your sports coach or one of the physical education teachers to help you put together an exercise routine you can do at school that will help you maintain a proper weight and body fat content. Or that they can monitor you while you exercise.
Jogging is a very good exercise but it can get lonely and is best done with a friend and for safety as well. If you really like to jog you may find some girls at school how like the safety of the school track for their jogging. You might check into that. You may get to do the exercise you like and make a new friend at the same time. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
