If the first time you meet a guy you're crying, does that kill all chances?

Question Posted Saturday December 18 2010, 10:47 am

of being liked?

Strange I know, but does it? I've heard that guys don't like "baggage". (Which is ridiculous because EVERYONE has issues). Anyway when I met someone I'm kinda interested in, I wasn't really crying per say, (I'd actually just gotten done,) so I still looked upset even though I wasn't.

I agree that it wouldn't ruin your chances at all.

In fact, (I don't know the proper terminology for this), but it might actually trigger a natural "protective" response in the guy.

I'm a happily married guy and I this is how *I* feel when my wife cries about something. I want to hug her and talk with her and make it all ok.

Best of luck!

In a word, no. I don't think crying in front of someone ruins the chance of having things progress to a relationship. Crying shows you have feelings and are vulnerable. You can't fault someone for that. It's also been my experience that showing these feelings brings out the chivalry in guys. Put the crying incident behind you. Hope this helps somehow!
