Does it feel different to be pregnant with twins than just one baby?
Question Posted Thursday November 18 2010, 11:28 pm
I just found out that I'm pregnant. Twins run in my family like crazy. I'm not a twin myself though. I was pregnant once before (miscarried) and I did have some morning sickness but not like this. I feel like 5 times sicker with this pregnancy. I have a doctor's appointment next week to make sure everything is okay. I was kind of wondering if maybe I'm pregnant with twins and that's why I feel more sick? When a woman is pregnant with twins does she feel different than with a single pregnancy?
You may also see more weight gain, have more morning sickness, have more mood swings, and notice basic changes in your overall health. Your body produces enough hormone to keep multiple babies alive. The body has to change things around to accommodate TWO extra lives instead of your usual one.
Make sure you talk with your doctor if you are pregnant with multiples. Remember you will be eating, drinking, and taking care for three people then. Don't be afraid to have an extra glass of water or bite of dinner.
If your morning sickness is severe, lasts for a very long time, or is accompanied by other complications then see your doctor immediately. [ Peeps's advice column | Ask Peeps A Question ]
