I'm 12, almost 13, girl. I know it's long, but please read!
So, my friendship started in the 5th grade. I sat right next 2 her & got 2 meet her. After only like, 2 weeks we were moved again. I guess that was how my teacher made us meet new ppl. Well ya, during the whole 5th grade we were fine as best friends.
In the 6th grade, that was when we REALLY separated. I only had 2 periods with her! Then there was this other girl, Cassidy, who pretty much stole her from me. My friend wasn't even comfortable w/ that girl being her friend most of the time! One minute they would be fine & then 5 minutes later, she would insult her, really annoy her, or disagree w/ her. That friend of mine was always very sensitive, & @ the smallest thing, she'd b offended/bothered by. At lunch, I would try 2 sit with her, give her 'friends' a chance, but those fake friends of hers always had a seat saved or something stupid like that & I would have 2 move. It got me SOOO mad. She thought I was always mad 4 every little thing I did, but really it was only those 'friends' being brats that got me so mad. If she would just pay attention 2 what it was that I was getting so mad at, she would know why. There were so many things I never got 2 tell her. THANK YOU CASSIDY, 4 taking my BEST FRIEND away from me!
Now this year, 7th grade, she doesn't even make an effort 2 talk 2 me! There were a couple of times when she said hi & smiled or something like that. This morning, I asked her boyfriend if she ever talks about me or asks about me, & he said no. Earlier in the year, I tried texting her. She would respond, but I was always the first one 2 text HER, SHE never texted ME.
What do u think I should do? Should I try 2 talk 2 her & ask what happened? I still truly care about her.
