Question Posted Thursday November 11 2010, 1:18 am
I'm a full time student right now, and I need to find a decent paying job. I've been working since I was 15, so I have plenty to put on a resume. I don't want to compete for minimum wage jobs with every other college student, so I am willing to go through a certification process as long as it doesn't cost a lot. Any ideas on what I can do?
If you are interested the job I am thinking of is that of an EMT, Emergency Medical Technician. Working for a private Ambulance Service you would for the most part move patients between home and hospitals, hospitals and nursing homes.
Pay for this job runs, again depending on location anywhere from $9.75 to $12.00 + an hour with schedules that are flexible enough to work around your class schedule. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
The first and third website say how much each job pays approximately per hour. The second one only gives a few that are probably not very helpful. But the third and first gives several good ideas.
