Im 14 years old and i do not eat Vegetables i do but very rarely! i do eat junk food alot but! i've been staying away from it now. but still i dont eat vegables! i do eat fruit and im very worried about geting a heart attack at 17 i dont know how high my cholesterol is!my mom tells me im to young to worry about that so what should i do!

haha i understand but think about some parents and why they force their children to eat vegetables it's because it's really good it's funny how all the bad tasting stuff is actually really good for you i think you should cut off the junk food a bit because i believe that it would affect you later on in life and plus it's really bad for your skin don't stop completely that would affect you just cut down a bit some vegetables like carrots, lettuce, cucumbers and most greens dont taste that bad and are really good for you

Hey, I understand your situation. I've been diagnosed with high cholesterol since 5th grade (I'm 19 now) and I've been too afraid to check up on it since I'm afraid of needles. Anywho, we never had fresh fruit or veggies in my house while growing up, but now that I'm older and have a say in what we buy at the grocery store, I make sure to eat well. I actuatlly would recommend going Vegan. This means no more animal products such as eggs, milk and butter. Did you know that only animal products have cholesterol and cutting these products out of your diet and substituting fruits, veggies and whole grains is the best thing you can do for yourself! Give it a little research :)

Your mom is right you really shouldnt worry so much.A heart attack is very slim at a young age.But ofcorse we all arnt perfect and we stress alot about unimportant things.So I suggest staying away from unhealthy food such as fired food,anything with grease basically.To much salt can cause blood clots,and butter is bad as well.Truthfully I am far from that type of person,but I think its great you care about your body,and your health.Also dont stress to much about it stress is something you really dont need at 14.I hope I helped
