How do you find out what the end masses of compounds in an equation are?

So tomorrow I have a quiz where the teacher gives me a chemical equation and then the masses of the reactants and I'm supposed to find the masses of the products. I know you're supposed to convert to moles and find the limiting reagent and then base everything else off of that, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. My teacher also says we should make a table with the starting moles, change in moles, and ending moles for the reactants and products...
