Okay i really need help, i want to start college fall 2011 but like any other teen im broke lol how can i get full scholarships and grants that i dont have to pay back? who do i talk to? I was also told since i have a disabled mother that i can get a full ride since in technically still a dependent or whatever but i need to find out how i go about all this please and thanks in advance! :]
i am also at college and i also don't have much money. I went to the college finance place and they sorted me out with a scheme that they give me some money to help me with bus fare food and things, and i when i get my EMA i can pay for things. Apply for EMA its for 16 - 18 years old between £10 - £30 a week. You can also get loans and things but you have to pay them back.

There are many, many, many grants available. The Pell Grant is probably something you will qualify for--and it will completely pay for the first so many semesters of college. You can even fill out an application online for the Pell Grant (and many other grants). Speak with your counselor about that sort of thing, too, because they usually have a whole list of websites you can get started with.
Talk with the school counselor and see what he/she has to say and offer. If you get started now then you'll be able to apply for local scholarships, too. The school counselors (even at your high school, probably) should know a thing or two about this.
The college counselor will know more because they deal with this sort of thing every single day. Somebody is always trying to reach out for tuition and they're pretty good about pointing you in the right direction, too.
