I am graduating this year and am considering majoring in fashion merchandising. I've always been interested in fashion and I think I could be good with business. I don't have like a super awesome style but I'm very interested. anyone have any advice on it or info? thanks a ton!
If that's what you really, truly want to do with your life then go for it. Don't settle for going after something you don't truly want with everything you have inside of you.
And I'm not saying don't do side jobs until you get to that goal. I'm saying you set your dream and shoot for it.
I regret going to school for psychology. It wasn't what I REALLY wanted to do. I just settled on something that I thought was cool but not what I honestly, truly wanted to make myself out to become.
Follow your heart. Reach for your dreams here. You could have the crappiest style in the world but somebody, somewhere will love it. There will always be a fanbase for any sort of unique style you can throw out. Sometimes I cannot comprehend how fashion designers think some things are cute, pretty, or attractive but they are big hits.
