my skin isnt sentive but ive feel like ive tried everything to get rid of acne. it works the first dayy but then fails. any ideas on what i should use? ps kinda poor so i cant afford expensive treatment anything you can find in a store?

All they need to do is give you a sample of prescription strength cream to try. Apply that as per the instructions and the medication will literally burn them off (it doesn't hurt) and prevent the bacteria that builds up and clogs your pores producing acne.
Once the tube is done all you have to do is take the prescription they will write you to a pharmacy and pay for the drug which won't be costly. Let the doctor know you're just a student and haven't figured out how to pay for everything. They might just keep supplying you with freebies which they'll monitor to help you out.
As far as scars go you'll need a dermatologist for that. Store bought solutions or those from TV don't work on severe acne or much at all with mild to moderate cases even. Why? They lack the strength of a prescription drug to do it.
I can't recommend anything really that cut it in my experience other than prescription creams. Sorry but that's about the size of it with those so-called remedies.
However, I know nothing about Proactive Solution which some swear works. If interested in that in particular you might want to modify your original question asking what people think of it in particular. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
