If you aren't ready for certain things that he thinks needs to happen, that is definitely a reason to break up in my opinion. Your boyfriend needs to be understanding.

Dating someone older is always hard because you end up having conflicting views on life and certain situations and it can definitely be hard. I definitely feel where you're coming from. My boyfriend is 7 years older than I am, and our views on some things are conflicting, but we get along well because I'm more mature than most people my age. I mean, I don't know any 19 year olds who live on their own (and college doesn't count) without their parents help.

Anyways, if you think that the conflicting views are a big enough problem to break you up and that you don't think you can agree to disagree, then I guess that breaking up is your solution. Just say that the relationship has been great but that you really don't see your problems being worked out & that it's starting to make you view everything about the relationship differently. Surely he will understand.
