i been feeling a bit sad lately.i havent seen my cousins in a while like i cant remember the last time i saw them.and then my family is falling apart like one of my aunt and uncle is devorcing and one of my gradpa died. ifeel like we are slowly growning apart from each other.it makes me sad that i dont get to see my family any more.what should i do?
These life changes are things people deal with everyday. Unfortunately, these things are happening to your family all at once which can make it difficult to accept. When it rains it pours, as they say.
There is not much you can do to change the direction these people in your life are heading, but you can try your best to stay close to you cousins, aunt and uncle. Tell them how you feel about these changes and how it makes you sad. I'm betting they will comfort you. Just because you haven't seen your cousins lately, doesn't mean you'll never see them again. It may not be as frequently, but you can still keep in touch and hang out once in a while. As for your Aunt and Uncle, you can see them separately, but see them you should.
As for grandpa, well, keep him in your prayers and think of the times spent with him.
You're sad because your world is changing significantly and the situation that you've grown comfortable and familiar with is no longer in place. This is going to happen one way or another at some time or another. Nothing stays stagnant and this is an opportunity for you to move on in life, though it is a difficult transition right now. Stay stronge and know that there are good things ahead after you weather the storm. [ Smartone's advice column | Ask Smartone A Question ]
