drama in the highschool over it.
im a senior and these girls who arnt my friends were talking about this girl who is my friend and like a friend does to another i went and told her what they said no big deal i usually let that end from there. this other girl found out and asked them why they were talking about my friend this girl who told them doest like them and gets a thrill to call people out. so they asked who said that they were and she didnt tell them it was me becuase she is also my friend. well this other girl stoped me in the hall and was like why are you telling *** that we talked shit about her i was like i didnt just to not start anytihng then she kept going about it and i was like okay. so my boyfriend goes up to her and says stop you would do the same thing if it was your friend regardless if you did talk smack or not she said she heard it and told her friend. well now shes putting stuff on facebook which is so stupid becuase i hate when people do that on facebook its so child like and my boyfriend comments on them and she wrote o *** all the girls at cheer practice were talking about you and i wrote hey lets not talk about my boyfriend and she wrote well your just sad becasue he likes us more and i didnt write anything because my bofriend told me not to and hes right well any way at school i tried confronting her like why would you say stuff like that you obviously have a bigger problem with then mindidng my own business but what ever she started yelling in the hall and i did too and walked off so embarrasing im not the type to do stuff like this so its all new to me i thought confronting the situation would be a good idea i was calm and i said hey i want to know why you have a huge problem with me and she started yelling it pissed me off like why would you do that im trying to be nice i dont hit people and i dont yell at them its what ever and now her boyfriend who is 18 or 19 is threatning me if i go near his girl then hes going to fight my boyfriend and i told him well ill do what i want first and dont message me and dont threaten me she started it and you saying this will get my boyfriend to hit you and if you lay a finger on him then youll go to jail b.c thats what hapends so i message her and was like you need to stop fighting on facebook its stupid and you need to be civil with me cuz im not not doing this all year you dont have to be my best friend and you dont have to talk to me you dont even have to smile in the hall way just ignore the fact that im in the school stop talking about me and leave it at that and ill do the same i just cant do stuff like this but they keep going the two of them so i dont know what to do. if someones talking about me in my face im going to get mad and its lke when people get mad you cant control your self so if she cant stop this then i have to find a way to not let it get to me and just stop i already had it made facebook so she cant see what i write on facebook along with the whole cheer team but didnt block them so idk i think i being fairly calm and letting her know that i tried talking to her face and told her that it is all talk and id never hit her and she wouldnt either i just dont understand i just told my friend what she was saying they talk loud anyway so im surprised that my friend didnt hear. this whole situation makes me sick and makes me reaise that this is why i dont befriend any one bcuase stuff like this happends she used to be my so called friend but i dont trust anyone these days as you can see shes fake any way she talks bad stuff about you then is your bestfriend. i dont know so stupid i just want it to stop.

To be honest it sounds like you did all the right and mature things to do in this situation, like calmly confronting her.
Problem is your in high school, and she's not mature, so your effort is wasted. She sounds like a stupid typical attention seeking teenage girl, and I'm afraid nothing you do is going to get her to change her ways. Period. You'll just have to hope later on in life she realises how horrible she's been and maybe then she'll stop.
For the meantime there's nothing you can really do except pretty much ignore her and eventually she'll probably. ( I know, that really sucks) Or get a teacher involved. That pretty much does nothing either though, she'll still talk about you.
