what do i tell my parents?

So my boyfriend joined the army and his graduation is coming up, i know it'll mean a lot to him if i go he sent me money. My dad however is old school and he said no. But this guy means the world to me and i want to be there for him and i dont know how should i do it, Im gonna go, but i dont know what to tell my parents. and i dont want to go and come back four days letter wthout telling them anything because i dontwant them to punish me by not letting me see him the 10 days he'll be here

Well, if this boy is your boyfriend, I'm assuming you've met his parents.. Ask your dad if he'd feel more comfortable if you go with them, and that would probably mean a lot to your boyfriend to see you getting along with his family.

If you are not comfortable with doing that, compromise with your dad, try to see his side on things, there is probably a good reason he doesn't want you going, but talking to him and being mature about it is the best way to go on this type of thing. (:

well if your of age which is 18 you can do what ever you want ask them again tell them your getting your own hotel and there will not be a sleepover he wont even step foot in the room your in. you really want to see him graduate and you have the money and if they still say no then tell them your going to go with a friend or go to a friend that lives away
