Making friends on Advicenators can be somewhat difficult because there is no chatting allowed on questions, for the most part. This means you'd have to use your own personal forum to meet and greet other users. You could easily include the link to your personal forum on your column though and then people who are interested in your advice could quickly click the link and be sent to a forum page where they could talk with you and exchange names.

If you're looking at this place as being some sort of social networking site like Facebook or MySpace then you've come to the wrong website for friendships. We're about giving advice, mainly, and not really centered around creating long-lasting friendships (it can happen though).
