Mk, I am in the marching band at my school. We have football games every Friday night. Tonight, this boy was being rude to my friend. So I told this boy I wasn't to happy with him and he said if he had a gun with him, he wouldn't be alive. Then a few minutes on the bus drive home, I saw that his bus buddy wasn't sitting in his seat so, I looked back at this boy and he looked so upset, he was sitting alone, his knees up, his arms wrapped around his legs and his head on his knees. So, I went to sit with him and I asked him what was wrong and he asked why I was mad at him, that he was upset because I was mad. He doesn't like when people are mad. So, we talked back in his seat for a good ten minutes, having a nice heart to heart, it was really great. The boy sitting in front of us turned around and made kissy noises at us. But when we pulled up at the school, I noticed inside that this boy was still really upset, so I tried talking to him but he kept saying he was fine, he was okay. So, I tried to get my best guy friend to talk to him but he didn't push it because he said he was fine. So, when I walked by him in the hall, he looked at me really sad like and then looked at the floor. So, I told him we're talking when we get back to school next week and he said that's okay with him. Then I started talking to my girl best friend and she was like "well why would he get so upset that you were mad. he didn't just put on the sad act in front of you, he was sad the whole time."
What do you think about it all? Does he maybe kinda sorta like me?
However, if he continues to be upset often, there may also be something else going on.
I recommend that you spend some more time talking to him. Don't ask if he's upset or why he's upset, just spend some more time with him. He may just need a friend.
