This may sound strange but whenever i have a mint
or chew gum that's minty i sneeze afterwards my aunt made a suggestion to me that i might be allergic i also did some research and got the same answer...
Do you think i could be allergic?
If i go to a allergist will they be able to help me or no? Will i be wasting my time if i do go?
I only sneeze when i have mints or chew gum that's minty it doesn't happen when i use toothpaste
Since the mint comes in contact with your mucus membrane you would probably have a bit of swelling, discomfort, or even pain associated with the "allergic reaction" as well.
Since none of that happens--just a sneeze--then it's possible that you just have sensitive sinuses.
Mint always tends to tingle in my nose when I'm chewing gum or just having a breath freshener. I don't sneeze but I'm certain that plenty of people do.
I once smelled this neck-warmer that was infused with mint and my nose went wild. It doesn't mean I was allergic to it. It just meant it was strong enough to make my sinuses go, "WHOA!"
If you're concerned then see your doctor.
If you're just curious then I'd really put it off with the way doctor's visits cost now. If it's not important then surely it can be put off to wait until later on. [ Peeps's advice column | Ask Peeps A Question ]
