Taking A Year Out of University: Volunteer Opportunities?
Question Posted Wednesday September 8 2010, 2:45 pm
Hi, im taking a year out, and going to university once this year finishes. Im just wondering if people have any ideas as to what i can do? I want to do some charity work, but wondering how to go about that.
I also want to volunteer at lawyers' offices, or at the office of my local newspaper, how would i go about contacting them and asking them?
Any other idea's as to what i can do will be useful also :)
Why are you taking a year out of college?
What is your major?
What do you want to do with your life?
What interests you?
When I was trying to decide what to do, I took a semester off from college and got a job as a waiter. I also spent a lot of time pondering my life and trying to relax. [ DirkGently's advice column | Ask DirkGently A Question ]
