I started hanging out with this boy, 16, I too am 16 and I am a female. I like hanging out with him, I love being around him and he's a cool guy to just know you're around. We're making plans to hang out a second time and I don't want it to be the last. Without being mushy and gushy "I love being around you and hanging out with you" How do I tell him that I want to hang out again after this second time? Also, without being annoying. I want him to be with his other friends but I don't want our hang outs to stop.
Please and Thank You!

Would you want to hang out? blah blah blah , anything like that. Also , you could always give him hints like oh theres nothing to do , just don't sound desperate. Don't text him non-stop he might think that's a bit too much , but hey don't let the hang outs stop. You can make it possible make them more fun hang out with him. My advice to you is just approach him and ask him what you up to or if he says im bored then be like want to do something? oor it can or cannot be out of the blue.

dntletitgo2urhead answered Thursday August 26 2010, 3:47 pm: Well, even though you don't want to come right out and say that you really enjoy hanging out with him, what's the sense in beating around the bush? I'm sure that he enjoys hanging out with you too if he agreed to do it again, so I think it's perfectly acceptable to honestly say "i really like hanging around with you." I don't think that a comment like this would scare him off or be considered annoying by him. In fact, knowing that you are happy to be around him will probably make him happy and will more than likely make him look forward to being around you again. If you still feel like it will be too awkward to come right out and say it, then hopefully actions will speak louder than words. All you have to do is act interested and excited to be around him (which I'm sure won't be too difficult to do from the sounds of things!!) and if he's into you he'll get the message. Concentrate on planning this second hang out for now. I wish you the best of luck with this new guy! [ dntletitgo2urhead's advice column | Ask dntletitgo2urhead A Question ]
