Xbox 360 Help transferring xbox live games to new console?

Um, I have an Xbox 360 Elite console... the old one, not the 250gb model, but I want to get that model. My question is, I have about 7 games I bought from the Xbox live store(Like Assassins Creed and Halo 3 and Devil May Cry 4) I was wondering, if I give my old Xbox away, does that mean I will lose those games? Or is there a way to transfer them to my new Xbox.

Microsoft has a tool designed to do just what you want. It is called: "The Xbox live license transfer tool."

Just go right on over there and follow the easy instructions when you get your new console.

Make SURE you do this BEFORE you give your old console away.
