Maybe they meant like your sheltered from much of society. I used to be like that. I went to a very wealthy school with a bunch of other wealthy school, I was spoiled and unaware that everyone didn't live exactly like me. When I got to high school I went to a public school, which had kids that lived in different areas over town. Some were wealthy like me and others were not. I was surprised to learn not everyone got 50 presents on Christmas, or that not everyone spent 1000s of dollars when they went shopping. I guess it's more innocence then anything. You just don't know what's going on in the world around you. Mybe you think everyone is just happy all the time. That sort of thing. So I think they meant either what i said or what the person below me said, I guess you just have to think about your life abd see which one applys to you.

So depending on how it was said it can be both bad and good. The person telling you could be suggesting that you might not understand what they are going through because you haven't ever dealt with something like this. Or they could be saying that it's a godo thing that you've never gone through something bad.
