If I'm taking birth control for my acne and anti-depressants, can I still donate blood?

As far as I'm aware, it's not a problem.

However, when you go to give blood you will usually be asked what medication you're on anyway so if there's a problem, they'll tell you.

Yes. It doesn't matter, at least not to the American Red Cross. Only a few medications are on the restricted list and birth control isn't one of them.

I don't recall seeing antidepressants on the list... I remember Accutane, blood thinners, and some other drug that wasn't an antidepressant.

However, as russianspy said, some states might have their own rules for donation centers that aren't the Red Cross.

Different states might have different rules, but as far as I know you should be fine.
