Hello. I'm 18/f. I've only had 2 serious boyfriends. My current boyfriend I've been dating for 3 years, & stuff is really rocky right now. I know we love each other but I don't know if we'll make it through this time.
The thought of losing him terrifies me. Among all of the fears of losing HIM, I also have the fear of dating...
I've dated him since I was 15. It was instant...we never really took it slow & i already knew him before then.
I was just wondering if anyone out there had any ideas on how to get over the dating/kissing new people fears/nerves.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

Dating is different with everybody. You've got to relax and go with the flow. You don't need to put pressure on yourself to kiss someone or to be intimate right away. Let everything happen naturally, instead of wondering "Is he going to kiss me?" or "Should I kiss him?".
Everybody is afraid of dating until they actually start dating. Then they realize that it's not as bad as they're making it out to be.
I'm not going to lie to you, it's going to be hard to take the plunge into the dating world.
You're young, and have all the time in the world to learn to play the game.
That's what dating is. A game.
You'll never learn the rules until you start playing. [ maxgrey's advice column | Ask maxgrey A Question ]

How to get over all that depends on you , go out with your friends , go look up some good looking guys , surround yourself with what you like doing best and focus on that. Get rid of them on your online chatting sites anything , get away from it , uhm also you can't get actually over it because at some point you will get lonley , but that's okay , you can always find yourself doing something. If it's cocky right now , don't worry about it really just let it loose and don't have any fear , that's the worst , be confident. Good luck and just go out and experience life!
