So, now to answer your question, "How much do you like her?" She's just a good friend to me. And I'm not sure how possible it is for anything else to be subconscious, so I'll assume that's all it is.
And it's not like I was acting pushy or anything either, because 90% of the time she started it. In the beginning she actually appeared to be stalking me through the halls at school, always seeming to know where I would be before I got there. I'd be headed to chem class and she'd come out of nowhere, poke me and start a conversation making me 10 minutes late every day.
So again, thanks for answering my question. Do you have any ideas other than someone spreading rumors? It does sound realistic, because a lot of people I know do stupid stuff like that, but none of them have ever been about me.
Additional info, added Friday August 6 2010, 8:39 pm: Well, I'm pretty sure that's all it is anyway. I've never really been very good at knowing what I felt about anyone. I'm more of a logic person. You know, things that actually make sense.
So I guess all I really know for sure is I want her to be happy, which she really hasn't been very much because of the stuff people have done to her throughout her life. But that's a different story.
But I do have a feeling you might like her and nothing's wrong with that. Think about it and if you decide that maybe your thoughts about her are a little bit more personal or intimate than a friend you can follow the advice that I gave you earlier or try to talk it out with her. Maybe she likes you too but doesn't know how to react and that's why she's been acting so odd.
I know I'm that way. I can start acting pretty weird to a girl once I know she likes me. It is possible that she does something similar to this.
And, yes, you wanting her to be happy is something a close friend would want, but when tied to some other deeper feelings, it can become more.
