Acting out like a musician? I think this is the first time I hear this from someone. :) I suggest you don't put up an act of any sort, because the only way I imagine this is someone that might end up being irritating or annoying to other people. The reason for this, is that they'll see you like someone that is trying too hard to show off their musical talent or musicianship.

If you play guitar and piano just wait for it, they will know. Try getting involved with other people that play musical intruments. You know, like joining a garage band and starting from there, then moving up. Maybe offer yourself to play at little family dinner parties, or make videos and post them on the web.

I Hope My Advice Helps You :)

It's not about acting the part, it's about being yourself. There is no way to "act like a musician" because musicians are individuals like the rest of us and belong to a group of people more prone to showing it.
If you want to connect with other musicians then talk about your passion for music, meet other musicians, and express yourself in any way that is safe and true to you.
