However, I highly suggest you buy a fan, You can buy one of these at Walmart for about 30 bucks. It hooks onto the bottom of the laptop. NinjaNeer answered Tuesday July 20 2010, 12:25 pm: This is a really common problem. You can get canned air from any business supply store. Use it as directed to blow dust out of your laptop's fan assembly.
Also, make sure that you don't use your laptop on soft surfaces like your bed, your lap, etc. Always use a hard surface. If you still have trouble, you can also buy laptop cooling pads to put underneath, or you can even use a cookie rack or something similar to keep it elevated with air circulating underneath.
