Peeps answered Thursday July 15 2010, 11:51 pm:
Hi there!

For many states, it really depends on the area. You're always going to find really, really good areas and really, really bad areas of the area. Some schools will have higher standards and smarter students than others. Some neighborhoods will have high crime rates while others haven't had a crime occur in years.

It's great that you are taking into consideration many of these components to living a good, healthy, and safe life. Unfortunately, there may not be many Advicenator users that currently live in Washington.

Personally, I cannot offer you many answers to your question. I do know a place you can ask these questions and get answers, especially if you have a specific area in mind:

You can also Google search phrases like "washington state forum" and get quite a few decent results. I cannot say any of those community forums would be more or less reliable than city-data though.

As for weather, find out a few zip codes of places you are interested in living in Washington. Track them through a few weather sites like:

That way you can see how high the humidity is, how the heat/cold is during all seasons, and what the overall typical weather is in those areas year-round.
