How do you find a good job? Do you work anywhere? How much do you work during the school year? I can't figure it out =(

Hey :)

Yeah, it all depends on where you live and your age. For example, I live in NY and everyone I know has been looking for a job since about 2 years ago. Some have landed a job, some are still looking. I actually found a job by posting things on Craigslist. For example, the fact that I need a job, and if anyone could help me that I'd really appreciate it. Several people contacted me. Some were spam, and few were actual employers. In the end, I got hired! So if you're 17 and up, I'd go for craigslist and look around stores, apply online to big companies like Home Depot, Old Navy, Etc. If you're younger, you can try places like fast food, restaurants, local stores, or even things like babysitting! Good luck!

you just have to look around, and ask around. look in the newspaper. if you're inexperienced, you're not going to get THAT good of a paying job as your first one, you can mostly get something like a cashier, waitress, cook at a fast food restaurant, hostess, carhop, those kinds of things. some of it depends on your age too. if you're under 21, obviously you wont be able to serve alcohol.
