My Ex-bestfriend won't forgive me!

Question Posted Friday July 9 2010, 11:09 am

14 years old/ male
I'm from Lebanon

My Bestfriend was mocking me at class. I got mad because i never expected my friend to hurt me as such. I got mad, stood up, and attacked him. Plus, I insulted him in front of the class and told if he were a man to stand up in front of me so he got scared! Now, I'm telling him i'm sorry but he's not forgiving me. His mom talked to me but that's not helping. He keeps on insulting me via Facebook. Moreover, our fiendship was extremely tight... Should I keep on trying to regain the friendship or should i let it go?

don't message him anymore, just leave him alone.
he'll come around sooner or later, especially since yall were THAT close! just give it time.

he's mad because you defended yourself, and probably embaressed him infront of yalls classmates, but all in all he was wrong, if you attacked him for no reason then I could see why he's mad. he had it coming! and he should have thought about that.

apologizing is all you can do, and proves that YOU'RE the bigger man, because you're fessing up to your mistake if he's just sitting there continuing to cuss at you even though you apoligizing then that proves he has ALOOOT of growing up to do.

Hope I helped:)
and I hope everything works out between you two!

Has this recently happened?

Your friend might need his space, He might still be angry and there is obviously a lot of tension going around.

Sometimes people don't come around at all, You said you were sorry did you say it securely?..If you did then I would wait a little while before you approach your friend again. If your friend decides not to come around then maybe it would be best if you decided to go your separate ways. Every relationship has their fights but depending on the situation and how bad it was...Sometimes sorry just doesn't cut it. Try to talk to your friend after he cools off.
