You probably only want to apply oil to your head once a week. Focus mainly on your ends of the hair. It will help to strengthen the hair shaft so that it doesn't break.

Applying it too often isn't that it's harmful or dangerous, it's that your hair and scalp can become pretty greasy. You would have to wash your hair out really, really well a couple of times each time you showered if you put the oil in your hair every single day. It would do more harm because you would be washing your hair more and causing some extra drying that would be unnatural for the hair and scalp.

You can also ingest the vitamin E for extra hair-growing benefits. Vitamin E isn't harmful so you can take some every single day and it shouldn't cause you any harm or discomfort. It will help to make your skin nicer too.

Take care of you body inside and out and your hair will grow long and beautiful. Take a multivitamin every day. Eat decently healthy. Exercise often but not excessively. Drink lots and lots of pure, clean water (no added anything). Hydration and vitamins are both absolutely necessary to having nice hair.

Try to reduce the amount of products you put onto your hair, including shampoos. Try to switch to more natural alternatives (you can search through VitaCost.com for some great products). Rinse your hair for at least 4 minutes in the shower after shampooing to make sure it all gets out. Take care of yourself and you'll see a noticeable change. Even just reducing your stress level can help your hair to grow faster!
