HELP! Bought Seagate Expansion External Drive and it doesn't work with my Mac!
So, I bought this external drive and it will not let me copy files on to this external drive. I have a personal Mac OS X MacBook Pro. I'm hoping that there is a way to fix the problem. At first I plugged it into my Windows computer and grabbed some files. NEED HELP.

Did you prep this for use with your Mac when you plugged it in?

Of course if you didn't initialize this for use with a Mac in the first place you can skip right over that and go here:

... You see Mac OS X can't really deal with the way that the drives come pre-formatted for the PC.
Don't despair... you aren't alone in this, and it isn't a hard fix at all.
