my ex is way to close
i like my ex, no point hidding it; were great mates always hang out and text and stuff. but hes so touchy and domanating that its hard for other guys to talk to me without him interupting. what should i do i want him close but just to calm down and see sense that im single. im a shy person so is there away around it that i dont need to be so direct.

well you could ask if he likes you in a way
as he would not pretect you from other guys if he did not like you back, and if you like him and it seems he likes you, then try your best to find out why he does these things, how you go about that can depend,
but make sure you try your best to talk to him and if your good mates at least you already talk to each other and things, just act like your asking a normal casual question :)

you said you like him but you didn't mention why you aren't dating him. if you don't want to be with him it kinda sounds like you're leading him on a little. you can still keep him close but the best thing to do would to not text him alot and only hang out once in awhile. if you want to be single you need to keep a distance. keep your distance but stay friendly.
