Once and Done.

Question Posted Monday June 21 2010, 6:48 pm

Uh, I want to try smoking weed. Just once, it's just something everybody wants to try, ya know? Maybe I'm alone in that but idk what to expect when I do try it. I know most people don't get high on their first time or they aren't as bad. Please tell me about you're first time? Thanks!

Don't say to not do it because I'm not going to try it once and become a huge pot head, I value things in my life and watching what has been happening to my brother's friends (which is whom I will probably try it with) I just want to do it once. once. once.

Thanks!

The deal is that people do not get physically addicted to pot, but psychological addiction is possible after long-term usage. If you try it once, it is not likely you will get addicted, unlike with other drugs. My first and only experience thus far with all this was with special brownies, not smoking. It may be different from smoking it, but I didn't like how it felt, but everyone's different. It's true, you will have to inhale a certain way or you won't be able to feel anything. What someone told me is that you have to take in air and smoke, both so you don't like choke and cough a lot on the first try. I heard you can also get high off of secondhand smoke, so maybe it would still work.

Speaking as someone who has tried different drugs in the past, it's not always as easy as 'just doing it once'.

I don't care if you don't want to be told not to do it. Maybe you will try it once and never do it again but there's a big chance that you'll want to do it again. And again. And again. How do you think your brother's friends became 'huge pot heads'? Do you think they deliberately set out to be like that? Unlikely. What's more probable is that just like you they thought it'd be cool to try it once or twice.

The first time, you're unlikely to get high, which is why you'll probably want to try it again. You might feel sick, you'll probably cough if you're not used to smoking and you'll probably feel a little spaced out.

You probably wont get high. On peoples first time, they don't know how to smoke. They don't know how to inhale, or that you have to suck it into your lungs after pulling on the blunt/joint/or glass.

On the off chance you do get high, good luck with that "once" decision. That's exactly what i said. And i'm definitely not a "pothead" but i wont turn a J down either.

But seriously, go ahead and try it. Its not bad, its not going to make you die or sick or anything. Just make sure your in a safe environment, with people you trust

ok well if you want to try it once then well who can stop you but u should know that tring these things only leads to addiction and you sometimes cant help it trust ik.
i know a person and smoking weed is no where near good for you and if you value life like you say you do then its not worth the risk just to TRY it
