OK...I was reading on the internet and somebody said there use to be repair shops for appliances like toasters. Is that true? If so, what else did people take to shops for repair? When was this? The only repair shops I know of are like computer repair or cars. What else do people repair?
NinjaNeer answered Friday June 11 2010, 4:02 pm: I've seen repair shops for sewing machines, televisions and vacuums in my city, specifically. I know there are also places where you can get any small electronics repaired.
People generally don't do this because it can cost more to repair a toaster than it would to buy a new one (a toaster can cost as little as 10-20 dollars!) [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]
