how do I show him what I want?
Okay so me and my best friend are dating and we have been for a month or so and we make out all the time but I kinda want him to do more. Problem is he's never been with anyone and gone past first base. So how do I get him to move to second?

The best thing to do is to talk about it. If you aren't comfortable enough to talk about these things, you shouldn't be doing them.
There is a chance your boyfriend is not ready for second base. You shouldn't rush him into doing anything he isn't ready to do, just as he shouldn't rush you.

You take matters into your own hands and you take it as far as you want it to go. Or you could take his hands and place them where you want them to be. He'll get the picture.
