im 16/f. for the past couple of years i have been obsessed with the japanese culture, country, or anything. i've been dying to learn the language as well. My goal is i am going to make it to Japan one day and visit for a couple of months. however i know that the japanese language is the hardest to learn, but then i remember my spanish teacher saying that the easiest way to learn another culture is to live with those people for a while. how exactly would i go about doing that? this is a pretty rash thing im asking i guess haha. im actually wanting someone to tell me steps of how i would go about doing that. im not sure that i could considering im very shy. but i would get used to it. going to japan is something i crave i guess. im not really sure why but it just fascinates me. advice pleaaaaase!
--ps. if anyone knows of any easier ways to learn japanese (not really sure there is) then feel free to tell me :). and does rosetta stone really help with japanese. i am also going to need to know how to write in japanese...alotta work. ive tried...and trying by myself is reaaaaly hard!

But you could always google japanese audio tracks and repeat what they are saying. Also I'm sure they have videos on Youtube that might help. As for the writing, I would recomend going to dictionary.com and then clicking on the "Translator" button. Once there in the box, type in random phrases like, "Hello, how are you?" After that choose the language you want to translate it to and click translate, it should show it in japanese writing. Also for speaking and writing, you could always get an english to japanese dictionary(if there is such a thing!)
Hope I helped!
