In college board i spelled my last name wrong. i called collegeboard and i explained them the problem. they told me my last name would be changed in 5 to 7 days. am scared because i already have my admission ticket to take the SAT on june 5. which is this saturday. they told me to take my school I.D , am scared because i dont know if they are going to let me take the test. can someone pleasse help me out. i just want to know if they will let me take the test or wait another year.

Take the name of the person who you talked with when you called and explained the situation with you when you go to the test. If there are any problems, they will be able to connect directly with that individual and take care of things right away.
If you don't know their name, call back and find out.
Also be sure to take the number you called and reached that person at.

I am sure you will be able to take the SAT. How bad did you spell your last name? It is also not likely for someone to have the same first name along with your last name being alike. You just go in there with your School I.D. and if they say something explain what you did wrong. Hopefully you got the name of the person you talked to when you called collegeboard?
