I think he wants to talk to me but i freeze up.
O.K there is this guy at my school and i think he is very cute and very polite but just recently his best friend told him i liked him and now he wants to talk to me but its summer and i invited him to my pool party but i dont know what to say to him and i am realllllllllllllly scared cause every time i talked to him i like cant talk what should i do??

The reason you can't talk to him is because you like him so much, you are scared you will mess up your chance at ever having a relationship with him. The first thing you can do is get a picture of him and try talking to that. i know it sounds weird but some people say it helps. i don't think that will work, but you know all people are different, it might. my advice for you would try to find common ground with him before the pool party. try to find out things he likes and try to built conversations. try preparing possible conversations in your head, so if you freeze you at least you will be well rehearsed and it will stop you from saying something stupid. another thing that i find really works is simply talking to him on the phone, sometimes just hearing his voice and responding to it is easier that talking to him in person. than when you get comfortable enough to have conversation with him on the phone, having conversations in person should be easy. if you don't have his phone number, you can either get it from a friend and make up an excuse to call him, such as if it rains the pool party will be on Friday and so on. if you absolutely can't talk to him on the phone, try texting him, emailing him or facebooking him. just try to find little ways you can talk to him so that moment when you two do talk at the pool party it won't be very odd and uncomfortable for you. if none of these are options for you, you can have your best friend standing by at the pool party so if you do freeze, she can bail you out. she can either pull you out of there before anything embarrassing is said or she can try to keep the conversation going and help you look not so frozen.
